Working with People With Lived Experience to shape policy, influence systems, and lead change
Our work includes:
- Creating opportunities for People With Lived Experience to lead the development of programmes, services, and community-led responses.
- Supporting migrant workers and affected communities to actively participate in policy discussions, advocacy, and decision-making processes.
- Building evidence and lived experience insight to strengthen the case for systemic change across immigration, labour, and anti-trafficking systems.
- Challenging harmful narratives and working to shift culture, attitudes, and practices within the anti-trafficking sector.

Examples of our work:
Justice for Sponsored Workers - A migrant-led solidarity platform and advocacy group where sponsored workers leverage their lived experiences to lead research, policy consultations, and collective campaigning, supported by the Migrant Rights Network (MRN) and Migrants At Work (MAW) as facilitating partners.
Facilitate multiple meetings between migrant workers and their MPs to raise common issues faced by migrant workers, including delivering our briefing to Jess Phillips MP the then safeguarding minister.
Black Europeans - A black Europeans organisation led by and for Black Europeans and their dependents to fight systemic racism supported by the Migrant Rights Network (MRN) and Migrants At Work (MAW) .Co-authored Modern Slavery PEC research 'Towards principles for Equitable Engagement'.
