Take Action: Join a Movement for Change

At Migrants At Work, we believe that those with lived experience of the UK immigration system are the most powerful advocates for reform. Whether you want to influence policy, join a protest, or share your story we are proud to support your involvement in the following campaigns alongside our partners.

Justice For Sponsored Workers (JFSW)

In partnership with Migrants At Work & Migrant Rights Network (MRN)

JFSW is a migrant-led solidarity platform designed for sponsored workers to lead the fight against the "tied-visa" system and other exploitative policies. As a member-led group, you can propose research projects, participate in ministerial briefings, and shape how we challenge the hostile environment.

  • Focus: Ending worker exploitation, tied visas, and hostile immigration policies affecting sponsored staff.

Not A Stranger

Led by Migrant Rights Network (MRN)

This campaign is a direct response to the recent UK Government Immigration White Paper and the harmful proposals for "earned settlement." It challenges the narrative that migrants are "strangers" and resists policies that seek to extend the waiting time for settlement (ILR) or make the pathway more precarious and expensive.

  • Focus: Resisting the Immigration White Paper, fighting "earned settlement" models, and shifting the public narrative.

Regularise

Led by the Regularise Collective

While other campaigns focus on those already within the visa system, Regularise advocates for the undocumented community in the UK. They campaign for a fair and simplified path to settlement for all undocumented migrants, ensuring that everyone has the right to work legally, access healthcare, and live without the fear of deportation.

  • Focus: Implementing a simplified regularisation program for undocumented people and ensuring basic human rights for all residents regardless of status.

Lift The Ban

A Coalition Campaign

Currently, most people seeking asylum are banned from working while they wait for a decision on their claim. Lift The Ban is a massive coalition of over 300 organisations campaigning to give people seeking asylum the right to work after six months, allowing them to support themselves and contribute their skills to our communities.

  • Focus: The right to work for asylum seekers and ending forced poverty.

Justice Is Not Seasonal

Led by Landworkers' Alliance (LWA)

This campaign is led by seasonal migrant workers in the horticulture sector. It highlights the human rights abuses and extreme exploitation faced by those harvesting the UK's crops. It demands better housing, fair wages, and an end to the "debt-bondage" often caused by the Seasonal Worker Visa.

  • Focus: Protecting the rights of agricultural workers and ending the precarity of seasonal visas.

Migrant Workers' Rights Coalition (MWRC)

We are proud members of the MWRC and actively support our members to participate in this space. This coalition brings together unions, charities, and worker groups to create a unified voice for migrant justice across all sectors of the UK economy.
