Networks & Partners
Our work is grounded in solidarity. We don't work in isolation, we build coalitions, join campaigns, and stand alongside organisations that share our analysis. These are the networks and partnerships that are central to what we do.
Justice for Sponsored Workers
We co-lead the Justice for Sponsored Workers group alongside Migrants' Rights Network (MRN), led by and for people on sponsored visas who have experienced exploitation through the UK's sponsorship system. The campaign documents how visa sponsorship - presented as a safe and legal route to work in the UK - is being used by some employers to traffic workers into conditions of debt, destitution, and dependency.
The group operates as a solidarity space, sharing advice and support as well as having the opportunity to pariticipate in wider campaigns and movements. The group collectively demands for an end to sponsored slavery, greater freedom for workers to move between employers, and the introduction of safe reporting mechanisms that don't put workers at risk of deportation for speaking out.
Migrant Workers' Rights Coalition (MWRC)
We are a founding member of the Migrant Workers' Rights Coalition, originally established by JCWI, Migrants' Rights Network, Migrants at Work, and Regularise. The coalition brings together over 30 organisations — including trade unions, migrant-led groups, frontline support and advice organisations, and research bodies — to build collective power in defending and advancing the rights of all migrant workers, including those who are undocumented, across the UK.
Organisations we have worked with
We have collaborated with a wide range of statutory, academic, and civil society organisations including Migrant Rights Network, GLAA, Birmingham City University, Coventry University, the UN Global Compact UK, ATLEU, Citizens Advice Liverpool, Birmingham and Coventry City Councils, the Human Trafficking Foundation, the EU Delegation to the UK, the University of Manchester, and Refugee Action.
