Raise a Grievance
A grievance letter is an official written complaint to your employer. Use this if you have been treated unfairly — for example, unsafe working conditions, unpaid wages, discrimination, or bullying.
- Stick to the facts — dates, what was said, who was present
- Send by email so you have a timestamp and written record
- Keep copies of all supporting documents (payslips, messages, letters)
- Your employer must respond within a reasonable time
