Raise a Grievance

A grievance letter is an official written complaint to your employer. Use this if you have been treated unfairly — for example, unsafe working conditions, unpaid wages, discrimination, or bullying.

📋 Tips before you write
  • Stick to the facts — dates, what was said, who was present
  • Send by email so you have a timestamp and written record
  • Keep copies of all supporting documents (payslips, messages, letters)
  • Your employer must respond within a reasonable time
